Alt Valley Vision
Alt Valley Vision is a new community media partnership between the International Centre for Digital Content (ICDC) at Liverpool John Moores University, the Alt Valley Community Trust, and the Alt Valley Neighbourhood Management Team.
Alt Valley Vision is:
- Creating a new community web portal
- Helping people, businesses and organisations create their own websites and videos
- Offering a range of short courses in video and website creation
- Helping people get first-step qualifications in digital media production
- Helping people get work experience in digital media production
- Installing hi-speed broadband connections in community centres across Alt Valley
The project is the second pilot in ICDC’s Vision series, building on the highly successful Kensington Vision
